Runners Signing Up for Library Benefit

Applications are available for the ninth annual Palos Verdes Library 10-K and 3-K Run, which will be held April 30 at Courtyard Mall in Rolling Hills Estates.

Registration is $12 with a T-shirt, $17 with a sweat shirt or $9 for entry only. There is a $3 late charge after April 16. The shirts feature a race logo by Times Pulitzer Prize political cartoonist Paul Conrad. Proceeds will benefit the peninsula’s library system.

Prizes will be awarded for the top three finishers in eight age groups as well as for top teams. Overall winners will win a week in Hawaii for two. Races begin at 8 a.m. with start and finish of the hilly course at the Courtyard.

Entry forms are available in sporting goods stores in the Courtyard as well as sporting goods and running stores in the area.
