Irvine Sensors, Costa Mesa, had a loss of $123,600 in the second fiscal quarter, compared to a loss of $502,200 for the comparable 1987 period. Contract revenues for the period ended March 27 were $886,300, 77% higher than the $501,700 recorded in last year’s second fiscal quarter. The net loss for the first half was $379,800, compared to a $1.1-million loss incurred in the like period last year. Contract revenues totaled $1.5 million, nearly double the $771,900 posted in last year’s first half. Irvine Sensors develops infrared devices and high-density electronics packages for military and commercial systems applications.
