NEW HOMESTEADERS
I violently object to the use of a homely, earnest and hard-working word such as homesteader to describe such frivolous people. Forget that there are people starving and homeless not six miles from their $20,000 living rooms; forget that there’s a writers’ strike on in which people are losing their houses. I simply want to know--don’t these people have anything better to do with their time than shop?
