Local News in Brief : Fullerton : High School District Trustee Resigning
Richard T. Gross, a trustee of the Fullerton Joint Union High School District for the past nine years, has announced that he will resign in August. Gross said he and his wife are moving to a home outside the school district.
School board President Robert Singer said there would be no interim appointment to fill Gross’ seat. Singer noted that the position will be on the ballot during for the Nov. 6 election. From August until the November election, the board will function with only four members, Singer said.
People interested in running for the seat on the Board of Trustees can file candidacy papers between July 18 and Aug. 12 at the county registrar of voters office, 1300 South Grand Ave., Santa Ana.
