Khalil Upsets the Field in County Fair Feature

Khalil raced to a 1 1/2-length victory Tuesday night in the $54,250 Orange County Centennial Stakes, the opening-night feature of the Orange County Racing Fair meeting before 10,506 at Los Alamitos.

Martin Pedroza was the winning jockey in his third victory of the night. Khalil, who paid $26.40, $9.80 and $5.40, has won three of 29 lifetime starts.
