Share

The Kissimmee-St. Cloud Resort area, a gateway to central Florida and Walt Disney World, is offering a complimentary booklet of discount coupons, good to the end of 1988, excluding holidays, as part of a “Great Fall Get-A-Way” promotion.

Discount coupons are for more than 20 attractions and for more than 40 hotels and motels. Some coupons give discounts off admission prices to groups with as many as six people.

Generally, coupons are on a 2-for-1 basis or offer a price reduction.

Among the parks and attractions involved are Sea World, Cypress Gardens, SeaEscape, Boardwalk and Baseball, Gatorland Zoo, Busch Gardens, Spaceport U.S.A., Wet & Wild, Jungle Falls and Old Town.

Discounts are also for a variety of dinner attractions including Medieval Times Dinner Tournament, Arabian Nights and the Ft. Liberty Wild West Dinner Show, as well as for night entertainment in such places as the Church Station complex and Little Darlin’s Rock ‘n’ Roll Palace. In addition, the booklet lists discounts for Walt Disney World.

Discount rates at hotels are from $17 to $75 a night with coupons. Some discounts are per person, but others are per room with up to four guests. Participants include the Hilton, Sheraton, Holiday Inn, Hyatt and Howard Johnson.

Some hotels are offering extra perks such as free stays, meals for children under a certain age, gratis tennis clinics, free continental breakfasts or breakfast buffets and separate discounts at restaurants.

Upon making hotel reservations, find out the discount. Also, have your coupon booklet ready when you check in. Some of the hotels have toll-free reservation numbers.

You may get more information and a copy of the “Great Fall Get-A-Way” coupon booklet from Kissimmee-St. Cloud Convention & Visitors Bureau, P.O. Box 2007, Kissimmee, Fla. 32742-2007, or phone (800) 327-9159.
