Earl S. Washington has been named vice president and general manager of the autonetics marine systems division of Rockwell International Corp. He succeeds Hugh Galt, who will retire in January, 1989, after 33 years with the company. During the transition, Galt is serving temporarily as vice president of marketing development for Autonetics Electronics Systems, the parent organization of the Anaheim-based division. Before his new assignment, Washington was vice president of strategic management and international for Rockwell’s electronics operations and for the defense electronics operations. The autonetics marine systems division supplies navigation systems and equipment for U.S. Navy submarines.
