The Super Bowl is more than 2 months away, but the Seattle Seahawks, among others, believe that the Buffalo Bills will be there.

The Bills, who have the best record in the NFL, overpowered the Seahawks, 13-3, Sunday for their fifth consecutive victory.

“We’re unbeatable right now,” Riddick said. “We’ve got guys doing whatever it takes to win.”

Riddick scored on a 1-yard run and Scott Norwood kicked field goals of 27 and 23 yards for the Bills (9-1), who lead the AFC East by 3 1/2 games.

Seattle (5-5) managed only a 41-yard field goal by Norm Johnson in the second quarter and slipped into a first-place tie with the Raiders and Denver in the AFC West.

Buffalo limited Seattle to 10 first downs and 72 yards rushing.

“They deserve to be 9-1,” Seattle Coach Chuck Knox said. “I said going into this game that they were the best team and I didn’t see anything to change my mind.”

The Bills haven’t allowed a touchdown in the last 2 games, beating Green Bay, 28-0, last week.

Buffalo’s defense harassed Seattle’s rookie quarterback, Kelly Stouffer, all day, sacking him 3 times, 2 by Bruce Smith, and knocking him out of the game for a while in the second half. The Bills also sacked Jeff Kemp, who played briefly in place of Stouffer, once.

“We’re a bunch of hungry guys out there trying to play hard,” said Cornelius Bennett, second-year outside linebacker. “Hopefully, with this win, we’ll get some respect around the league.”

Riddick, filling in after Thurman Thomas suffered a bruised shin, gave Buffalo a 10-3 lead with his 1-yard touchdown run with 1:47 left in the first half. Riddick rushed 18 times for 75 yards.

Norwood, the NFL’s leading scorer, added a 23-yard field goal with 2:38 left.
