California’s Vietnam War veterans were urged to put their names into a computerized system designed to reunite buddies on Dec. 10, when the state’s new memorial to Vietnam veterans will be dedicated in Sacramento. Officials of the California Vietnam Veterans Memorial Commission estimate that 55,000 people will attend the Dec. 9-10 affair unveiling the $2-million memorial in Capitol Park. Commission officials said the computerized system has been donated by Electronic Data Systems. Registration forms for the buddy search are being published in some newspapers and can be obtained by telephoning the commission at (916) 327-0077 or writing to the commission at Box 3040, Sacramento, 95812.
