A 55-year-old woman was robbed and assaulted late Sunday at her home on Logan Avenue in San Diego, police said.
Virginia Gonzalvez was listed in stable condition at Sharp Memorial Hospital with stab wounds to the neck, said hospital spokeswoman Lori Pooley.
About 11 p.m., a man came to the victim’s door and forced his way inside, Police Sgt. Nate Caplan said. The man, who is still at large, tied up Gonzalvez, stabbed her in the neck and ransacked the apartment, Caplan said.
