Local News in Brief : Police Posing as Drug Dealers Arrest 48
Undercover Pomona police officers posing as drug dealers arrested 48 adults on narcotics-related charges, officials said.
“People who didn’t have money wanted to trade clothing, TVs, even marijuana for cocaine,” Lt. Larry Todd said.
Those arrested were booked for investigation of possessing or transporting a controlled substance, both felonies, Todd said.
Demand sometimes was so high that additional officers were needed to make the arrests Friday and Saturday nights.
