Navy Delays Sub Launch Test of Trident 2 Missile

WASHINGTON —
The Navy Thursday pushed back the next test date for a submarine-launched Trident 2 missile from April to mid-July to make necessary design changes in the nozzle guidance system in the wake of last month’s crash. In the first sea test of the $26.5-million missile on March 21 off Florida, the missile cartwheeled off course and exploded.
