LOCAL : Lotto Jackpot Goes to $17 Million

Nobody picked all six winning numbers in Wednesday’s Lotto 6/49 contest, meaning the jackpot should increase from $11 million to an estimated $17 million by Saturday’s drawing, California Lottery officials said today.
Eight entrants did correctly guess five of the six winning numbers plus the bonus number to win $203,563 each. Five of six winning numbers were correctly guessed by 265 people, who won $3,166 each. Some 14,395 entrants picked four of six winning numbers to win $52 each, and 273,033 entrants guessed three of six numbers to win an automatic.
