NATION : 2nd Body Found in Texas Rubble
Rescuers found a second body today and planned an extensive search for 22 missing workers in the smoldering rubble of a plastics plant where fiery explosions killed at least two people and injured 124.
The body was found by six firefighters and safety experts who ventured into the devastated Phillips Petroleum Co. complex, where explosions Monday afternoon flung debris five miles and shook the ground 25 miles away.
The emergency response team decided it was safe to send a larger search party in later today, Sheriff Johnny Klevenhagen said. He said they will need heavy equipment to move the body and search for others in the rubble.
