Malibu : Club to Vote on Cityhood
The Malibu Democratic Club is scheduled to vote Nov. 9 on whether to endorse Malibu’s efforts to achieve cityhood, club spokeswoman Rachel Werb said.
The group’s Nov. 9 meeting, at 7:30 p.m. in the jury room of the County Courthouse, 23525 W. Civic Center Way, will be open to the public, she said.
Guest speakers will be Walt Keller, co-chairman of the Malibu Committee for Incorporation; Larry Wan, president of the Malibu Township Council, and Greg O’Connor, chairman of the Executive Task Force of the Malibu Chamber of Commerce.
