Williams Joins Above Software

Share

Don Williams, who left his job as senior vice president at AST Research Inc. in May and subsequently joined AST co-founder Albert Wong’s new company, AMKLY Systems, has become president at Above Software in Santa Ana.

Above Software, a 20-employee company that develops software for personal computers, expects to have revenue of about $5 million in 1990.

The 4-year-old firm, founded as Teleware West Inc., has its stock traded on the over-the-counter market as Los Angeles Securities Group, but that name will soon be changed. Williams will report to Bob Rafferty, chairman and chief executive of the company.

Above Software expects revenues to more than double this year, and future product development will focus on utility programs for personal computers.
