EIKLOR UPDATE: This week’s assassination of an American missionary in South Lebanon provoked anxiety in the Costa Mesa offices of Shalom International, a Christian organization which combats anti-Semitism. . . . The group’s founder, the Rev. Frank Eiklor, was in the area, looking into the plight of Christian refugees. . . . Eiklor’s wife, Norma, said he called Thursday to say he’d been three miles from where Robinson was killed but is now safe in Israel.
