Flight Testing of the B-2 Resumes: The United States has resumed flight-testing the B-2 Stealth bomber at Edwards Air Force Base after a scheduled five-month break for modifications to the radar-avoiding aircraft, the Defense Department said. The Pentagon said in a brief announcement that testing resumed Friday on the B-2, which first flew last July. Friday’s flight lasted six hours and five minutes. The plane was refueled four times by a KC-10 tanker aircraft and reached an altitude of 35,000 feet during the successful flight, the Air Force said.
