First Opposition Party in Mongolia Registered

ULAN BATOR, Mongolia —
This country formally registered its first opposition party Tuesday, giving it legal status less than two weeks after a law allowing multi-party politics was enacted.
The state Supreme Court registered the Mongolian Party of National Progress.
