New Knott’s Project? Knott’s Berry Farm is considering plans to build an entertainment center in the White River State Park in downtown Indianapolis, a park spokesman said. The Buena Park firm was approached by Indianapolis officials this summer about designing a 35-acre project in the 265-acre park, which includes the city zoo and a Western museum. Knott’s sent teams from its food, merchandising and other divisions to Indianapolis last month but has not yet made a formal proposal. The project would mark the firm’s second expansion outside California. An indoor amusement park in the Mall of America in Minnesota is scheduled to open in August, 1992.
