Rep. Conte Recuperating After Surgery on Brain

WASHINGTON —
Rep. Silvio O. Conte (R-Mass.) was recuperating Tuesday after doctors removed a blood clot on the right side of his brain, his office reported. Conte, 69, was taken to the National Institutes of Health hospital Friday after he complained of nausea and high fever and then experienced a loss of feeling in his left hand.
