HONG KONG: The government says the latest reports on economic performance indicate that Hong Kong is moving from recession to recovery. Industrial production for January, 1991, rose 19.9% over the same period in 1990, according to the Council for Economic Planning and Development. It also said exports rose 11.9% in January and February--to $4.3 billion--compared to the total recorded during the two-month period of 1990.
