PLACENTIA : Man Hit in Leg in Drive-By Shooting
A 23-year-old Placentia man was shot in the leg early Sunday morning in what police described as a drive-by shooting.
Felipe Delgado told police he was walking back to his home in the 900 block of Gonzales Street when a car rushed by and six or seven shots rang out.
Police said Delgado could not provide a description of the vehicle.
Delgado, who was hit in the right thigh, was taken to Placentia-Linda Community Hospital, where he was treated and released.
Investigators said the incident may have been gang-related, but could not immediately confirm that possibility.
