Mandatory Helmet Law

I noticed with nostalgic interest your piece on Assemblyman Floyd’s (D-Carson) perseverance in getting his helmet bill signed (Part A, May 21).

In light of the recent Memorial Day weekend, I hope your readers are aware of another example of his perseverance. There would be no Vietnam Veterans Memorial without his perseverance.
