Tandon, IBM Reach Patent Agreement

Share

Tandon Corp., a Moorpark maker of personal computers, said it has entered a patent cross-license agreement with International Business Machines Corp. Under the agreement, which covers patents filed before July 1, 1996, Tandon will pay IBM an undisclosed amount over nine years for the worldwide licenses to patents on a broad range of personal computer products, including desktop workstation applications.

Tandon said the agreement puts an end to all disagreements between it and IBM over possible patent infringements.
