El Toro Forfeits Football Game to San Clemente

El Toro has forfeited its 34-0 football victory over San Clemente in South Coast League play because the Chargers used an ineligible player, according to San Clemente Athletic Director Jim McNaught.

The forfeit drops El Toro (2-7-1) into last place in the six-team league with an 0-4-1 record. San Clemente, which hadn’t won a league game in five years, finished 3-7 and 1-4 in league.

Attempts to reach El Toro Coach Mike Milner were unsuccessful.
