COLLEGE ROUNDUP : Revenge of Loyola Marymount Claims Cal State Fullerton, 8-2

Cal State Fullerton pitcher Dan Naulty was rocked for six runs in less than five innings as Loyola Marymount defeated the seventh-ranked Titans, 8-2, in a nonconference baseball game Thursday at Loyola Marymount.

The Lions (12-30) had lost three consecutive games and 11 of 12, but benefited from five Titan errors. The victory avenged a 13-2 defeat to Fullerton (28-12) in February.

Shane Bowers (2-4) pitched his second complete game of the season, striking out seven and giving up 10 hits.
