Glendora : Council to Reconsider Lots

Share

In an action characterized by Councilwoman Lois Shade as “chasing its tail,” the City Council voted 3-2 Tuesday to reconsider for the second time a decision on whether three Glendora Avenue lots should be residential or commercial.

In February the council changed the city’s General Plan to designate 654, 662 and 670 S. Glendora Ave. from residential to commercial. Then, at its April 28 meeting, the council reversed itself, deciding on a 3-2 vote that the area should remain residential.

On Tuesday, Councilman Larry Glenn indicated he has had second thoughts on that vote and wants the matter considered yet again. It will be on the May 26 agenda.
