Salary Gives KCET Contributor Pause

Interesting article by Sharon Bernstein on how well KCET did with its fund drive (“A Hard Sell Gets KCET $5 Million,” Calendar July 4). It’s true that some of their best programming takes place during those fund drives.

But I stopped contributing when I learned that KCET President William H. Kobin is paid more than $200,000 a year.

That’s a heck of a lot more than I earn, so I’m wondering how much he contributes to allay those threats to cut programming if we don’t all pony up?
