OCEANSIDE : Street Fight Ends in Death of Teen
A teen-ager was found shot to death when police responded to a street fight in Oceanside, police said.
Domingo Nunez, 16, of Oceanside was found dead at Holly and Marquette streets at 8:43 p.m. Thursday, said Sgt. Tom Bussey. He had been shot in the head, police said.
Nunez, a student at Oceanside High School, may have threatened his suspected attacker with a loaded rifle during a disagreement earlier in the day, police said.
Police arrested Para Partido, 42, and booked him into Vista County Jail on Thursday night, Bussey said. Police say Partido apparently fired one round in self-defense.
