Glendora : Development Fees Rise

Share

The city will begin charging $1,500, plus staff time and material costs, to process applications for development agreements, environmental impact reports and specific plans.

Previously, development agreement applicants were charged a flat fee of $1,500, environmental reports cost $1,200 plus attorney fees and the processing of specific plan applications was free.

Applications for General Plan amendments, which would designate real property for residential use or would increase the density of the residential uses on real property, will increase from $1,000 to $1,200.

The new fees will not bring new revenue to the city, because state law prohibits the city from making a profit on such services, Director of Planning and Redevelopment Stan Wong said Tuesday.
