LOS ANGELES : Police Seek Possible Victims of Sex Assault by Teacher
Police are searching for possible victims of sexual assault by a Los Angeles special education teacher now facing charges of molesting a student.
William Goens, 54, who taught speech therapy for the Los Angeles Unified School District, was arraigned last week in Municipal Court.
A 17-year-old male victim with a learning disability recently claimed Goens had molested him when he attended both the Tenth Street Elementary School and Berendo Junior High School, said Los Angeles Police Detective Yehuda Packer. He asked those with information to call (213) 485-2919.
Goens was placed on leave without pay pending the outcome of the case, a school district spokesman said.
