New Auburn football Coach Terry Bowden will retain five assistants, including his brother, Tommy, from the staff of former Coach Pat Dye.
Bowden, the son of Florida State Coach Bobby Bowden, said he also will keep defensive coordinator Wayne Hall, defensive line coach James Daniel, defensive end coach Joe Whitt and recruiting coordinator Rodney Garner.
Tommy Bowden was Dye’s offensive coordinator, but he will coach receivers under his younger brother.
