Monterey Park : Child-Care Applications
The city’s day-care center is accepting applications from low-income families for federally subsidized child care.
Five subsidy packages are available through federal housing programs for the city’s Barnes Park Day Care Center.
Under the program, eligible participants pay only $17.50 of the regular $62.50 weekly day-care fee, which includes a pickup service from Monterey Park schools.
The day-care center accepts children from ages 4 to 18 on school days from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Information: (818) 571-9237.
