Organization Taints Charity Fund Raising

Fund raising for charitable purposes is indeed tainted by Valley Fundraisers and its clients, whose representatives made in their own words such an effective case against giving (May 17).

This business and these charities clearly violate the ethical standards of the fund-raising profession--standards that have evolved through consensus of many volunteers, professional fund-raisers and government officials (who reviewed restraint-of-trade legal issues).
