Winger Claims Title With 300 Game

Bowler Ron Winger of Tarzana overcame a 99-pin deficit Thursday with a 300 game in the finals of the Wyoming Valley Senior Open at Wilkes-Barre, Pa., to defeat Jim Certain of Huntsville, Ala., and claim the $9,000 first prize. Winger’s two-game total was 579.
