How About Registering Screwdrivers as Weapons?

* After reading your story regarding the use of screwdrivers as weapons (Oct. 3), I am convinced it is high time we registered every screwdriver owner and imposed a 15-day waiting period on the purchase of any screwdriver. I anticipate The Times’ strong support for this action.
