Teen Wounded in Drive-By Shooting
A 16-year-old was wounded Saturday when two men in a car opened fire on a group of people standing on a sidewalk, police said.
The victim, who was not identified because of his age, was taken to Huntington Beach Medical Center, Police Sgt. Steve Johnson said. His condition was not immediately determined.
The shooting occurred about 5:40 p.m. in the 17300 block of Jacquelyn Street, Johnson said.
Two men in the front seat of a brown, two-toned Buick drove by and several shots were fired at the group, Johnson said. The investigation is continuing.
