40 Illegal Immigrants Seized in Mexican Sewer

MEXICO CITY —
Forty illegal immigrants, most of them from India, were found hidden in a sewer in Mexico’s western state of Guerrero apparently waiting to be picked up by smugglers and transported into the United States, the attorney general’s office said Friday.
The undocumented workers included 35 Indians, a Bangladeshi, two Guatemalans and two Salvadorans.
