With Design In Mind Reports $1.17-Million Loss

With Design In Mind International Inc., a Woodland Hills marketer of toys, reported a loss of $1.17 million for the three months that ended Dec. 31 on sales of $1.08 million.

In the same quarter a year earlier, the company had a loss of $406,761 on sales of $478,702. With Design In Mind has been restructuring since late 1992, and last year changed its fiscal year so that it ends Dec. 31, instead of Sept. 30.

For all of 1993, the company posted a loss of $2.92 million on sales of $1.56 million. For its fiscal year that ended in September, 1992, With Design In Mind lost $4.61 million on sales of $3.63 million.

The company recently relocated its general offices to Woodland Hills from Chatsworth to reduce costs.
