Humanitarian Award: Claes Anderson has been selected as “humanitarian of the year” by the Southern California Restaurant Writers. Anderson is owner of the 65-room Hotel Laguna and the Claes Seafood Etc. restaurant, which are both in Laguna Beach.
Anderson’s award recognized the restaurateur’s involvement in the “Make A Wish Foundation,” the American Cancer Society and for housing out-of-town firefighters during the Laguna Beach fire.
