OXNARD : Store Employees Robbed at Gunpoint
Police were searching Tuesday for two men who robbed employees of an Oxnard clothing store at gunpoint.
According to authorities, a man approached two Fashion Bug employees in the store’s parking lot on Rose Avenue about 9 a.m. Monday and demanded money.
The two employees, who were on their way to a bank to deposit store receipts, told police that the man pointed a gun at one of them and demanded the bag, which contained $1,154, police said.
After grabbing the bag, the man fled to a waiting vehicle and was driven away by a second man with a rifle, authorities said.
Police later found the vehicle abandoned at Indiana Avenue in Oxnard. The vehicle had been reported stolen.
