A 12-year-old boy shot himself to death after leaving a suicide note telling his parents to donate his organs, newspapers reported. His request followed publicity for an American couple who donated their 7-year-old son’s organs after he was fatally wounded in a highway robbery in Italy. The 12-year-old shot himself with his grandfather’s rifle. But his organs could not be used, because several hours passed before his father found his body.
