Housing Group Honors Leaders

LINC Housing Corp., a nonprofit affordable housing development group based in Irvine, has honored three business and community leaders for promoting affordable housing.

John Fulford, a senior vice president with the Federal National Mortgage Assn. (Fannie Mae) was honored for his leadership in Fannie Mae’s affordable housing initiative, which will benefit those with low and moderate incomes.

Bruce Karatz, head of Kaufman & Broad Home Corp., was recognized for initiating the formation of K&B;’s new Multi-Housing Group, which focuses on affordable housing development for senior citizens and families of limited means.

Supervisor Yvonne Brathwaite Burke, chairwoman of the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors, is being recognized for her leadership on affordable housing issues, including service on the Enterprise Foundation and LINC’s board of directors.

LINC is an affiliate of Corporate Fund for Housing, one of the Southland’s largest nonprofit housing groups.
