South Gate 19, San Fernando 15--Hoffman Cortes rushed for 112 yards and two touchdowns in 19 carries to lead the Rams at home.

Juan Vasquez completed five of 10 passes for 116 yards, including a 76-yard scoring pass in the second quarter.

San Fernando took a 7-0 lead before South Gate scored three consecutive touchdowns, including runs of 22 and four yards by Cortes.

At the end of the third quarter, the Tigers pulled to 19-15 on a five-yard run by Keijuan Douglas and his conversion run but a comeback attempt by San Fernando ended with 2:34 left in the game when Lavell Thompson lost a fumble on the San Fernando 43-yard line.
