Platinum Software Corp.: The Irvine financial software company incurred a net loss of $1.9 million, or 15 cents a share, for the third fiscal quarter, compared with a net loss of $13 million, or $1.04 a share, for the same quarter in fiscal 1994. Revenue for quarter ended March 31 totaled $13.4 million. That compares with revenue of $14.2 million for the third quarter of fiscal 1994, which contained $2.8 million in revenue associated with operations that have been divested. The net loss for the first three quarters was $4.7 million, or 37 cents a share, compared with a year-earlier net loss of $25.6 million, or $2.07 a share. Revenue was up 3% to $41.3 million from $40.2 million.
