NEWBURY PARK : Schillo to Host Meeting Thursday
Ventura County Supervisor Frank Schillo will answer the question “What Is Your County Doing for You?” during a meeting in Newbury Park on Thursday night.
The meeting is scheduled for 7 p.m. at the Portrero Fire Station at 820 S. Reino Road. Schillo said he plans to discuss his first 100 days as a member of the Board of Supervisors. The longtime Thousand Oaks city councilman was elected to the board in November and assumed office in January.
He represents the 2nd Supervisorial District, which encompasses Thousand Oaks, Oak Park, Port Hueneme and southern Oxnard.
Dubbed the Citizens’ Exchange, the meeting is just one of many sessions Schillo says he plans to hold throughout his district in coming months.
