Man Killed in Suspected Gang Shooting

A 21-year-old Garden Grove man was fatally shot Saturday night in what police suspect was a gang-related incident, authorities said Sunday.

Tuan Van Pham suffered gunshot wounds to the head and upper body. He was found lying in the eastbound traffic lane of Westminster Avenue near Brookhurst Street about 9 p.m. Saturday, Garden Grove Police Sgt. Paul Prince said.

Authorities believe the assailant and the victim were quarreling moments before the shooting. The suspect fled in a white vehicle that might be marked with bullet holes, Prince said.
