Medical Screening Slated at Senior Fair
More than 30 organizations will offer free medical screenings and resource information to senior citizens Friday at a Senior Fair in Anaheim.
The event, sponsored by Assemblyman Curt Pringle (R-Garden Grove) and the city of Anaheim, is scheduled from 8:30 a.m. to noon at the Brookhurst Community Center, 2271 W. Crescent Ave.
Participating organizations include the Orange County Medical Assn.’s Physician Referral Service, the Orange County Optometric Assn., the American Cancer Society, the American Lung Assn., the Alzheimer’s Assn. of Orange County and the Arthritis Foundation.
Also participating will be Senior Meals and Services, the Dayle McIntosh Center for the Disabled, and senior centers from the cities of Anaheim, Buena Park, Garden Grove, Stanton and Westminster.
