Bank’s Parent Posts First-Quarter Profit

California Commercial Bankshares, the parent company of National Bank of Southern California, reported first-quarter profit of $210,000, or 8 cents a share, up 4% from the $201,000, or 8 cents a share, recorded for last year’s first quarter. Total assets fell 7% to $296.4 million at the end of March from $320 million a year earlier.
